Leeds were dealt a setback recently with the news that Eddie Nketiah would be recalled by his parent club Arsenal, having offered the team goals from the bench this campaign.
His departure leaves them short on numbers up-front, though 18-year-old Ryan Edmondson is an option for Marcelo Bielsa to call upon.
The striker has only a couple of appearances to his name which suggests that he isn’t favoured by the Argentine, despite him being highly-rated by a number of Leeds fans.
Some believe he is capable of replacing Nketiah by acting as a reserve to Patrick Bamford, though given Leeds are chasing promotion that is a lot of pressure to place on his young shoulders. Further fans were also keen to ensure he stays at Elland Road beyond January.
Many have faith in him due to his progress in the various Leeds youth teams, and the fact he is an academy graduate works in his favour.

The club has had many successful players come through the ranks in recent years, such as Kalvin Phillips, Jack Clarke and Jamie Shackleton, all of whom have played a role under Bielsa in making the team one of the best in the Championship.
Supporters have been discussing whether Edmondson could be the next in line in response to a Middlesbrough fan wanting his club to take the player on loan, something Leeds fans aren’t too keen on.
They view him as a player with a lot of potential and some predict big things for him, with one even fan even suggesting he could be as good as Harry Kane, which seems a big stretch.
However, Leeds may have to depend on the youngster following a worrying update from Phil Hay in regard to a striker transfer target.
