Stockport County looked the more dominant side in the first half having enjoyed the lion's share of possession. They came close to scoring on a couple of occasions before finally breaking the deadlock around the half-hour mark. The Red Dragons lost possession in their half allowing Callum Champs to win the ball who set up Connor Lemonheigh-Evans with a brilliant pass from which the midfielder found the back of the net.
The hosts started the second half on a stronger note as it took them only a minute to score the equaliser. Ollie Palmer received a pin-point long ball from Eoghan O'Connell near the edge of the box with a brilliant first touch before slotting the ball home.
Phil Parkinson's side looked more comfortable with the ball after the break as they dominated possession in the early stages of the second half. In the 87th minute, Andy Cannon's thunderous strike from the right edge of the box flew into the top left corner which helped the Welsh club end a brilliant season on a memorable note.

Lemonheigh-Evans was the star performer for the newly-crowned League Two champions. As well as scoring the opening goal for Stockport, the 27-year-old showed his dominance across the pitch and created several goal-scoring opportunities for his side.

Red Dragons star Paul Mullin had a rare off day on the pitch as the forward failed to have much impact for his club. The 29-year-old did have a couple of chances to increase his season's goals tally but was unable to convert.
WHAT COMES NEXT?
With yet another successful season coming to an end, the players will now enjoy a well-earned break before Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney's side comes back on the pitch on July 24 when they take on Chelsea in a pre-season friendly in California.
